Detecting Cancer
at the
SPEED of LIGHT
Using Membrane Voltage Profiling.
Analysis of the surgical margin for the presence of cancer TAKES TOO LONG
Currently, in the United States, it takes 7 to 10 days to get the results of a pathological analysis. That is too late if they find cancer cells at the surgical margin, a finding that means chemo, radiation, immunotherapy, or even repeat surgery.
Anxiety Inducing
Patients have increased levels of anxiety as they wait for results.
Inefficient Care
Physicians have to wait for results, which adds time, and can lead to increased patient visits and scheduling inefficiencies.
Poor Patient Outcomes
Improving surgical success rates though intraoperative imaging can lead to better patient outcomes.
Introducing:
MVPro
Membrane Voltage Profiling
Our patent pending, innovative MVPro is a cancer detection method that provides surgeons with the data they need during surgery.
- MVPro is attractive to patients, surgeons, pathologists, hospital administrators, and Medicare.
- MVPro is fast, accurate, and affordable.
- MVPro is simple to adopt and use.
- Equipment is inexpensive and has a small footprint.
- MVPro can be used around the world, in any physician’s office and health care facility.
Fast Easy Reliable.
the four steps of Membrane Voltage Profiling are:
ONE: Collect Cells
All surgical margin cells are collected in a single 2-D plane.
TWO: Soak the Tissue
We flood the tissue with a specialized dye.
THREE: Image the Cells
A fluorescence imager is used to examine the dye signal.
FOUR: Analyze
Analysis is completed within a matter of minutes—providing near real-time data to surgeons, pathologists, and patients.
MVPro in Action
Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Surgical Margin
Imaged in 15 minutes using MVPro.
Nuclei stained with Hoechst.
Signal from voltage sensitive dye.
A needed innovation in cancer Detection.
THe brains behind our science

Dr. Adams, PhD
Founder, President, and Chief Science Officer
Dany Spencer Adams, PhD is the founder of Lucell Diagnostics, Inc. She is a pioneer in the field of Bioelectricity and the first entrepreneur to base a cancer-detection system on the physiological biomarker of living-cell membrane voltage.
Lucell Diagnostics is revolutionizing cancer surgery by creating a brand new kind of imaging method to inform surgeons during surgery of the presence of cancer cells in the surgical margin of resected tumors. This groundbreaking method, Membrane Voltage Profiling (MVPro), will improve surgical success rates and raise patient quality of life by ensuring removal of all cancer while also allowing the preservation of surrounding healthy tissue.
MVPro is ahead of all other imaging techniques by being rapid, sensitive, accurate, small, and affordable, with custom, computer-aided, non-biased, image analysis, making it useful in any health care facility in the world, including those in underserved regions.
In addition, Dany is the author of four books and forty-two professional papers, has won numerous awards and is known internationally for bringing live, in vivo imaging to the field of Bioelectricity.
